Our Commitment
McCauley Law Offices is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone.
Measures We Take
- Semantic HTML with proper heading hierarchy and landmark regions
- Keyboard-navigable menus, forms, and interactive components
- Color contrast ratios that meet or exceed WCAG AA thresholds
- Alt text on informative images; decorative images marked as such
- Visible focus indicators on links, buttons, and form fields
- Forms with associated
<label>elements and clear error messaging - Skip-to-content link for keyboard and screen reader users
- Responsive layouts that work across screen sizes and assistive technologies
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible β particularly third-party embeds (live chat, video players, map iframes) and legacy PDF documents. We are actively working with our vendors to address these areas.
